Tools used, and special thanks

I was able to use some great software to quickly explore and create mockups, specifically:

Literature and Latte’s Scapple

A tool for rapidly adding bits of information and clustering. Opens instantly and you can get your thoughts on paper in seconds. https://www.literatureandlatte.com/scapple/overview

Eastgate’s Tinderbox

A more heavy-hitting program, this allows deeper exploration of textual relationships. Billed as “A tool for notes” by it’s creator Mark Bernstein, it’s one of the most powerful knowledge software I’ve ever worked with. http://www.eastgate.com/Tinderbox/

Affinity’s Designer

Affinity develops a powerful, low-cost suite of software with a perpetual license for designers who don’t want to pay expensive subscription fees. Highly recommended. https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/

The Braille Institute’s Atkinson Hyperlegible font

A beautifully designed Humanist Sans font, it was created specifically for low-vision readers and is available free for download. https://www.brailleinstitute.org/freefont/
